Arsenal Can Make History at Old Trafford
On this edition of the ArsenalVision Podcast, Elliot is joined by Clive to discuss the upcoming trip to Old Trafford and a bit on the Champions League. The pod starts with a little chat about a crazy CL semifinal and the upcoming final at Wembley before turning to the big game on Sunday. The United preview focuses on how to approach a very weak and wounded team, without arrogance, but with confidence. There’s a bit on how they might setup against us, and what players might return for the, as well as whether Mikel will continue with the lineup he’s picked for the last 2 matches. There’s a bit on the tactical battle and what threat they carry that Arsenal must not overlook. There’s a bit on the importance of not letting history cloud the fact that this United team is ripe for defeat and not playing “the badge.” All that and more on this edition of the ArsenalVision Podcast.

St Totteringham’s Day
On this edition of the ArsenalVision Podcast, Elliot is joined by Clive and Tim to discuss Arsenal’s victory in the North London Derby and the return of St. Totteringham’s Day. The pod starts with an overall reflection on the joy of victory and the stress of the 10 minutes. Then the pod covers two very different halves of football. There’s a bit on the low possession, three goal first half, and the impact of Nicholas Jover’s set pieces in this game and this season. There’s praise for Bukayo Saka’s overall performance and brilliant goal before the pod waxes lyrical about a sensational performance from Kai Havertz. A few other individuals are called out for their excellent contribution like Ben White and Thomas Partey. There’s a bit on an uncharacteristically sloppy Odegaard game as well. David Raya’s error and overall performance are contrasted, and the pod asks whether there’s a goalkeeping issue at Arsenal. The pod finishes with a quick discussion of Arsenal’s 2024 form and title chances. All that and more on this edition of the ArsenalVision Podcast.

Customer Reviews
The BEST
Simply the best Arsenal podcast out there. Keep doing what you do guys 👌
Love the Vision pod
I’m a Patreon, worth it for the Instant Reaction pod alone… love listening to them all particularly Clive & Tim. Elliott is a great host. Up the Gunners
K29
The best Arsenal-based football podcast you could hope to listen to (along with Arsecast!) Elliot (the host) is articulate, self-aware and humorous, and does a great job bringing energy and direction to every show whether Arsenal have won or lost. Clive is one of the most knowledgeable football brains you could listen to - with his passion for Arsenal, its players, and sport in general shining through. His succinct and clear analysis is always informative and educational, especially for a listener with a mediocre understanding of tactics and coaching like me! Also comes across as one of the best people, which is especially nice in a world where a lot of people just aren’t. Tim’s encyclopaedic knowledge of Football (and the Simpsons) can help educate even novices in a few short listens. Shout out to him for driving a relentless and dedicated passion for Arsenal-women’s football. Also helps (with Clive) to give listeners a vivid snapshot into what the life of a regular stadium-going fan is all about. Paul brings balance and a humorous counterpoint to the others, with his left field takes that often actually prove to hold weight. Deserves a shout out for being very good humoured about jokes or banter aimed at his views! The chemistry between the hosts, their genuine respect for one another (even when their views differ) and the listeners, and their shared love of Arsenal is infectious. I especially like that their analysis gets the balance between support for the team versus honest criticism / reflection just right - too much football commentary is either reactionary chest thumping, or else shallow positivity without any real analysis or honesty. I love how the podcasters here are unashamedly Arsenal in their leanings, and are always supportive of the Club, but they’re also willing to be very honest (and constructively critical - if merited) if things are not going well. Luckily, there hasn’t been much need for the latter in the last season or two! I was a casual Arsenal fan in the past - my husband introduced me to this podcast after I complained about the (lack of) quality of general footballing discourse and punditry, and I have to say it helped me to understand and connect with the Arsenal community in a way I never thought possible. Amazing job guys - thanks for dedicating so much time and energy to this work. It really makes a difference to so many Arsenal fans out there.
