What a weekend of rugby. 16 matches - actually 15 (we'll deal with Leinster v Toulon being called off) amazing fixtures in perfect conditions...and it didn't disappoint. For once, there probably WAS enough rugby to justify a marathon pod. LTBP!

Standout rugby podcast

My feed is full of rugby podcasts, but this is the one I constantly listen to, week in and week out - and have done since the early days.

Whilst other rugby pods rely on star power to get gets - which is absolutely fine - this is a fans take on rugby, and is like being with your mates in the clubhouse chatting rugby over a few beers.

Do I agree with everything they say? Absolutely not? Is every pod perfect? Absolutely not. But I can honestly say I’ve never listened to the pod and thought it was a waste of time.

Where this pod comes into its own in my opinion are the Midweek Domestic Pods. Lots of podcasts forget the club game during international windows. Eggchasers has a dedicated pod to it, full of detailed analysis. They also have an unmatched dedication to the tier two nations. Unlike other pods, it feels as if these three do it for the love of it, rather than to built themselves a media career.

England Rugby Podcast

Not because of any bias, more because of content. 90% English rugby, 10% other nations.

All know their stuff with varying opinions. Just one thing, Alyn Wyn Jones’ surname isn’t Wyn Jones, his forename is Alun Wyn. Stop referring to him as Wyn Jones, makes no sense.
