Keep politics out of it please...

This is usually a brilliant rugby podcast that provides a lot of thoughtful insight about current issues facing rugby now and in to the future. There’s also a great rotation of guests / journalist making to keep the discussion fresh and current.

I would have awarded 5 stars before Lockdown but annoyingly politics have crept in to the Ruck recently. There was also a painful non rugby episode that was a speculative piece of journalism at best, again playing politics. Remember people tune in for what is happening in rugby, usually as a distraction from the the uncertain times we find ourselves in.

KEEP POLITICS OUT OF THE RUCK PLEASE!!!!

Great

Great pod, but I do wish Stephen Jones would think through some of his opinions. I’m sure he’s just be contradictory for the sake of it sometimes. Some of his views are frankly astounding and I wish the rest of the panel would push back more and challenge him on them

The Ruck

More considered and less blokey than the other rugby podcasts I’ve tried. The contributors often disagree, which is interesting, and are doing a good job of addressing the issues behind the sport, which is important, and actually essential when there are no games to discuss.
