Helping me understand myself

I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who’s going through the realisation and diagnosis process. I’m 37 and it’s only become clear to me recently that I probably have Aspergers. I’ve cried several times listening to these conversations, it’s making sense of so many struggles I’ve had my whole life. I can start feeling like OK, this is just me and how my brain works, and I can feel proud of who I am rather than feel frustrated and ashamed not knowing why I’m not like everyone else.

The Autism Diaries

As always my lovely, you nail it again and knock it out of the proverbial park, which incidentally is one of the reasons I became hooked and began to follow your social media platforms 2 years ago, the honesty which you project across them all, and now with the added bonus of content in podcast format too, ALL come from a real parental perspective, along with the openness of a person who actually lives her life dealing with her own ASD daily, I would highly recommend to anyone, that they follow, listen, read or watch your media platforms, should they find themselves swimming and sometimes feeling like their ultimately drowning some days, in the large sea and often ‘very choppy’ unpredictable waters of the SEN world and a lot of what it truthfully encompasses.
