In this episode, Claire talks about how she has been gearing up for her trip of a lifetime, walking the 500 mile Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain.

It's a corker of an episode and be warned, you will come away full of inspiration and ready to kick your own plans into action!

67: Are there too many celebrants (revisited)?

In this revisited episode, (first recorded by Natasha in episode 12!) Claire and Natasha tackle the controversial and oft-cited statement that there are too many celebrants. They look at whether there really are too many celebrants, the accuracy in being able to make such a claim and whether actually the situation is far too nuanced for a blanket statement such as this. They also look at what celebrants can do if they feel like their work is under threat or if they are based in an area with lots of celebrants.

Pure gold for real-life advice, tips and empowerment to follow own celebrant journey

Having trained to be a celebrant earlier this year, I found my course to be a bit fusty and traditional. Where was all the exciting, passionate, inspiring role-models. I’d become a celebrant to do things differently, not the same as everyone else. Luckily that’s when I found Claire and Natasha’s podcast and their Celebrant Collective.
In this podcast they gave practical advice on what to focus on to make our businesses a success. It’s no good being an amazing celebrant if you can’t get the work or deal with the business side. But even more than that, their enthusiasm and evident passion in doing their dream jobs and how over time they’ve really found their own styles and they are loud and proud about that. How each of us are unique and that’s a bonus for our clients!
I finish every episode smiling and with tons of ideas, I’m still to do my first ceremony but I’m confident that when I do, it will be massively down to Natasha and Claire’s wise words!

Gems about Celebrancy

Thank you both for such a thought provoking podcast for Celebrants. It really helps to focus the mind on different aspects of the business as well as the the ceremony creation and delivery. It is always a delight when a new episode is launched !

New to Celebrancy

This podcast is so useful, encouraging and enlightening to me.
Being new to the world of Celebrancy I enjoy listening to Natasha’s words of wisdom but also love that she is reflective and willing to highlight, debate and discuss areas that all of us should be considering in our roles.
