Enhanced My Wealth
19 Feb
I started watching Damo’s videos online and the advice has significantly enhanced my net worth. I am now going to be a weekly listener and really enjoy the dynamic these two have. As a young woman in my late 20’s, I now feel so much more confident in my financial future. Thank you!
Usual lines trotted out week after week

Buy global index funds and use ISAs and pensions. Lecture about not timing the market while punting Bitcoin yet again or so meme stock. Guest speaker punts their book which covers the same ground. Tiresome podcast. No attempt to talk about messed up and polluting the current financial system. Even Damien’s YouTube vids are just tired rehash’s - long since run out material. How many times can you review trading212?

Love Damien and Ti especially the YouTube stuff Damien do but the podcast has become tiresome as of late with constant talk of Trump is bad and Europe and Labour good.
Buy a tracker

Buy a Global Equity tracker and nudge up your savings… You don’t need to listen now! As an adviser it always frustrates me when the “experts” don’t talk about protection or if they do, it’s with zero passion! It’s the most important aspect of any financial plan. Just not popular…
Damien and T changed my outlook on finances.
10 Feb
I can’t recommend the Making Money podcast enough! Damien and T have completely changed my outlook on money and financial freedom. About a year and a half ago, I was drowning in around £65,000 of debt and knew I couldn’t carry on like that. My journey started with The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey, but discovering Making Money was a real game changer. Through their insights and the advice of their incredible guests, I’ve learned how to take control of my finances, cut unnecessary spending, and use every spare penny to pay down debt. Thanks to their guidance, I’m now just about a year away from becoming completely debt free! From there, I’ll be following their strategies to start investing and building real wealth. What’s been truly eye opening is how much extra cash you can find just by being frugal and intentional with your money. Damien and T break things down in a way that’s practical, relatable, and most importantly doable. If you’re serious about turning your financial situation around, this podcast is an absolute must listen!

Shows are getting better and better and loving the variety of guests! Really down to earth and insightful for those of us finding our financial way. Plus an episode with Pete Matthews! Financial hero’s together 🩷
Insightful

Relatively new into learning about finance, so I was happy to find a podcast that cover a range of topics with interesting guests.
Pension episode with Tim

Lots and lots of advice and information, however it has scrambled my brain. Any chance it could be broken down into manageable chunks.
Excellent podcast

I only picked up on Damien around a year or so ago, following a recommendation from the legend that is Pete Matthew (Meaningful Money). Quickly became one of my top 3 podcasts - Meaningful Money and Many Happy Returns being the other two. I’m 58 and retired but find Damien’s perspective an excellent and insightful challenge to my admittedly “older” way of thinking, being particularly useful for me to apply to my children’s financial plans. So many great episodes but the latest one with Tom McPhail (always a brilliant guest) on pensions was, in my opinion, the best yet. Absolutely first class conversation and hugely instructive for anyone hoping to retire well. Well done Damien - keep up your fantastic work.
Hit and miss…

Been listening since day one, and have been watching DTM even longer. Podcast is ok, some episodes have been utter trash while others have been great. I feel bad for T, the show doesn’t need him. D often belittles him and it’s just awkward to listen to.
