History of Rome

I came on this after listening to Revolutions and heard Mike talk about his first podcast, as a lover of all history and also reading especially fiction but set in real history events, I wanted to know about the Rome, soo I set about listening to it as I drove up and down the UK as a HGV driver, I have to say it has been brilliant, learning I’ve come to this nearly 15 years after he first made it made me a little sad missing out on the tours he did, but it increased my knowledge a lot I will come back to it as am sure I missed some stuff. Well done Mike it’s been great and I will look out for anything else you did, you brought a great sense off humour to it with your knowledge as well insights into what the people off Rome did. 👍

Outstanding

Just finished The History of Rome and it is bitter sweet. I have spent the better part of the year listening to these episodes and it has felt like a real journey. Each episode is fascinating and it is hard not to binge. Mike Duncan’s presentation is excellent with some dry humour sprinkled in. I will likely listen to this podcast again in a few years as there is so much information I’m sure I could learn more.
