#210: Mark Cilia (Type 1% Exclusive) [Part 2]

#210: Mark Cilia (Type 1% Exclusive) [Part 2]

Part 2 of this week's episode where Eoin chats with one of his clients inside his “Type 1% Better” Programme - an inside look into the programme itself.
Along with many other features, Eoin’s Type 1% Programme has a private podcast for just the members, and one of the webinars they do on a regular basis is a “Client Hot Seat’, which essentially looks into the success of current members of the community, and how they achieve what they achieve inside the programme.
This inspires and motivates each member inside the group!
Before, Mark was admittedly struggling with...
His blood sugar time in range %.He knew his A1C wasn’t where he wanted it, and was just the average of too many highs and too many lows each day.He was putting a lot of time, energy, and effort into his training, but not seeing any of the results he wanted - leading to fatigue and frustration.
Since then, he’s “made more progress in the last 6 months, than I have over the last 6 years!”

Mark has built a significant amount of strength and muscle (without spending hours in the gym each day).Completed a 4km swim, a 6km swim, and his first ever triathlon, all while keeping his blood sugar in the exact place he wanted.Increased his blood sugar time in range % to 90+ each day, week, and month (where he feels his best).Travelled to Brazil eating + drinking unpredictable foods, confidently keeping blood sugars in check. As a result, now has more energy, better quality sleep, clearer focus in work.Mark has some gold to share with us, and practical tips on how he’s made such an incredible transformation!
Getting a detailed insight into how other members of the programme operate is invaluable to your own progress!”

itsDannyMolloy ,

Brilliant and very useful!

Month into being diagnosed and learning so much via this podcast! 👏🏻

Stannersmum ,

5 year old son diagnosed with Type 1 after being admitted to hospital with DKA.

We don’t know anyone with type 1 diabetes and therefore have no prior experience. The learning on the job, when the job is so critical has been so hard. I would ideally liked to have had 6-12 months of hard core swatting to learn about it before being thrown in the deep end. I found your podcast last week and have been binge listening since! I have learnt something new in every episode. Thank you.

From a parents view point

Speaking from the perspective of a diabetic parent. The podcast is just so informative, real life experiences from both Eoin and his inspirational speakers. We all learn from others valuable experiences, and this is what this podcast most definitely provides. The way it’s presented is just for easy listening and before you know it the episode is over! And you’re left wanting more! Thank you and keep up the great work.
