Do I Need an App? | The No Bullsh*t Guide to a Happier Life

Do I Need an App? | The No Bullsh*t Guide to a Happier Life

Welcome to episode 83. Do I need an app? We’re served a constant stream of ads for tools and apps, all promising to streamline, automate and organise our busy lives. It’s very seductive. But the truth for a lot of us is that a new app isn’t the answer to an easier life. In fact, pinning your hopes on an organisational tool may end up making you feel more stressed! In this episode I explain why it’s the overwhelm that needs addressing first, and once you’ve done that, how to find the right tool that works for you as an individual. Let’s dive in!
    In this episode:
    ·         Productivity apps aren’t for everyone, and that’s ok – it doesn’t mean you’re any less organised!
    ·         Why reducing your feelings of overwhelm should be the priority before you consider any app.
    ·         Trial and error – find an app that mirrors your brain, and remember – stopping and switching to a different one doesn’t mean you’ve failed.

These podcasts are like a hug. A 15 minute cuddle.

These podcasts are like a hug. A 15 minute cuddle. Helens voice is so reassuring calming and comforting.
If you’re having a bad day, listening to Helen’s voice I immediately feel comforted.
I would suggest ignoring the title of each episode and listen anyway, regardless of whether you think the content will be relevant to you or not, because there is ALWAYS something that either resonates or that you can take away from it. I devoured this podcast one episode after another and then started on the book which I highly recommend.

Inspired,straight talking, honest, fun

Love these podcasts! Such inspired, straight talking, honest and fun. A variety of subjects always covered which are so true to life with some thought provoking questions for yourself. It’s like having a good natter with a great friend who tells you like it is (and it’s not always easy) but is there to support and lift you up. Perfect to listen to when out on a nature walk with the pup. Thanks Helen x

Straight talking advice

Helen does exactly what she says she will do! Listening is like having a chat with a friend over a cuppa/glass of wine. She tells you what you know you need to hear but shy away from telling yourself.
