I love Gina and Ione’s authenticity, they bring anti-capitalist critique and incisive commentary on all the issues they discuss. something I have been banging on about is how feminism needs to engage with class politics in order to be radical, and these two put that into words and practice - I look to you both when I need a hand making sense of how i feel about something (eg Kamala is brat), and love that you demonstrate how to create kind but productive conversations not just create an exclusive echo chamber. I also just LOVE it when you go ‘I don’t know’ or ‘they’re just gimps’ - this is so real

A Refreshing And Excellent Podcast
4 Nov
In a podcast world of cringey forced banter and endless under researched rambling Polyester is such a refreshing listen. With episodes clocking around the 30 minute mark their discussion is short and punchy, but thorough, sticking to interesting points of discussion on a topic rather than spiralling into myriad tangential slogs. The chemistry between hosts Ione and Gina is genuine, adding amusement and vibrancy to each conversation. I may not agree with every little thing they say, but they don’t always agree with each other either. Their ability to challenge one another’s viewpoints, and intelligently break their own perspective down, sets them apart from the kind of self righteous echo chambers which plague the arena of online discourse. Couldn’t recommend enough, this lot are smashing it.
Fave podcast!

I look forward to listening to Ione and Gina every Monday. They consistently cover the latest social topics, pop culture, and more serious current issues, particularly feminist ones. Every episode is well-researched and provides insightful perspectives. I love that they fully discuss the topics and aren't afraid to disagree with each other. Their dialogue is both insightful and funny, making it very accessible. It's like listening to your mates have a chat. 💕
