The Rick Shiels Golf Show

I like the Friday podcasts which are more relatable because they include players who are still playing competitive club golf. Still think you would do better to put out an occasional less professional podcast on a Tuesday than missing out completely.

Everyone I’ve talked to thinks the LIV move is a terrible decision…Rick and Guy have risked their reputation for short term gains…they have had such success and longevity because of their ability to see the golf world through the eyes of the viewer…this move is so out of step with that - its really hard to understand. I don’t think they realise how profound an impact this will have on their legacy as the OG of golf YouTube…it completely reframes the body of work they have created and they will never be viewed in the same light again.

After the LIV decision I refuse to support blood money! It was fun but now it’s done.

Sadly Rick and team have made a terrible decision and destroyed everything they built, so I will no longer be listening
