    The main reason, in my honest opinion, is if you create a sense of confusion and fear it makes it much easier to sell a solution. Yes the lies are all about making money from vulnerable people desperate to achieve something.

    In this episode I aim to bust some of the biggest myths around weight loss:

    ▪️Carbs make you fat

    ▪️Fat makes you fat

    ▪️Eating at certain times of the day makes you fat

    ▪️Supplements cause weight loss

    ▪️Weight loss is just about moving more and eating less

    There are more but I feel these are some of the biggest things we get told. After understanding why the above points are a load of nonsense hopefully you will create a better relationship with how weight loss really works and in all honest cut the BS out of your mindset to help you on your journey.

    Following on from a post I did a few weeks ago on TikTok and Reels showing 5 classic signs you have an unhealthy relationship with food let's try and put things in to place to fix the issue.

    Creating a much healthier relationship with food and eating in general has been one of the best things I have done on my journey and in all honesty if it hadn't been something I had worked on I don't feel i would of had the success i've had.

    I hope this podcast goes some way to helping you address your issues but it is a common one.

    My philosophy has always been too coach weight loss in a healthy and sustainable fashion. Basically the complete opposite of 99.9% FAD diets.

    The base of healthy and sustainable weight loss, in my honest opinion, is having a healthy and sustainable calorie allowance that puts you into a calorie deficit.

    Calories are king and the only way to lose body fat is to consume less calories than we burn.

    There are two essentials needed to create that calorie allowance. We then need to put support tools into place to make those two essentials easier. The more support tools in place the easier your weight loss journey will be.
