The Storm: A Lost Rewatch Podcast
Having survived the long night of Game of Thrones, podcasters Dave Gonzales, Joanna Robinson, and Neil Miller had to go back for a massive rewatch of ABC's hit show Lost. And don't be surprised if a few other major storm-fronts open up along the way.

Well I don’t know what to say. This last episode left me speechless and drenched in tears. Mr Giacchino over the farewells and Dave’s denouement monologue was so moving. I kept waitIng for the “don’t fall down”. I have LOVED LOVED LOVED this podcast over the last couple of years. I started listening when you were towards the end of series two and then binge listened and watched until I’d caught up. It’s been so nice to hear people who enjoyed Lost as much as I did. I watched it first while I was teaching in Japan. My flatmate and I had to wait for the videos to be returned to Tsutaya video store each time. All ex-pats were in line to watch it. By the time it finished I had finished my time in Japan and done 3 years in Egypt and was back on British soil for the finale. But by then all my Lost buddies were all over the world so I had to watch the finale on my own and try to work it out without discussion and theorizing with anyone. The three of you are fab. You have a great rapport and it’s been great fun listening to you. Although I have to admit I thought for a long time you were saying commies instead of calmies which really confused me. Can’t wait to hear what you’re doing next. I will have a massive podcast void in my life now! Really good podcasts which I wait for week on week and few are far between. Love you guys and thanks so much xxxxx Lindsay

It’s mid-February 2021 and I’m stood outside a maternity unit at my local hospital. We’re in peak COVID lockdown and so this will be the first time I get to see my daughter through an ultrasound scan. Due to COVID I’m also not allowed in the waiting room - I have to wait outside ready to be called in. There’s a clear blue sky and a brisk wind bringing the temperature down to -8 °C. The maternity unit is super busy which means I end up waiting 2.5hrs in the freezing cold. But I’m okay because I’m in the warm company of Dave, Neil, Joanna and Sayid’s glistening hair. They’re all very good. One day later, the baby is born, what did we call her? Rose. Watch together, you’re not alone. - - - P.S Named after Rose from Lost? No! But whatever happened, happened! Horse!
Joanna is my constant 🌪💕

Found the show through Joanna’s always great work, but now I love all of you. THANK YOU! (English accent with a *hint* of Bristol.)

In the last 6 months I have discovered the concept of pairing podcasts with watching episodes and absolutely love the way it extends the enjoyment of the episode beyond just sitting on the couch for an hour. Really enjoying this podcast and how it opens my eyes to layers I missed or didn’t consider last time. I’m up to series 2 episode 19 at the moment so if this does get a mention I should get round to hearing it in early mid 2022....
