Host Andy Richter asks the same three questions to each guest: Where do you come from? Where are you going? What have you learned? These three simple questions, when answered honestly and thoughtfully, are enough to provide a pretty complete picture of who a person is. The answers are what Andy always wants to know about people. This will not be a one-sided process, as Andy won’t shy away from getting personal himself.
Ed Helms joins Andy Richter to discuss why he fell so hard for the banjo, his love for Appalachian mountain tales, and his new historical podcast SNAFU.
Natasha Leggero joins Andy Richter to discuss small town Illinois, freezing your eggs, getting typecast as a person without pants, and the tough conversations that come with parenthood.
Christina Ricci joins Andy Richter to discuss her Alaska escape-plan, working with Cher, motherhood, and her upcoming Netflix series “Wednesday.” Make sure to check out “Wednesday” on Netflix - streaming November 23.
Ralph Macchio (Cobra Kai) joins Andy Richter to discuss returning to The Karate Kid universe, the advantages and disadvantages of a young face, song-and-dance men, planning life around New York sports teams, and more.
Jake Tapper (CNN) joins Andy Richter to discuss Jake’s comedy bonafides, the current state of the Republican Party, campaign posters, film school, and more!
Martin Starr (Silicon Valley) joins Andy Richter to discuss his experience as a teenager on the set of “Freaks and Geeks”, falling in love with motorcycles, coming to terms with death, and more!
Wonderful to hear Andy in conversation with his guests. He's warm, empathetic and always gets the best out of them as well as being hilarious. Thank you Andy for making covid times more bearable.
A tighter edit could improve this
Love Conan and Andy, love Ben Gibbard so I decided to try this out. The interview itself was interesting, it’s always nice to hear a musician interviewed by a non-(professional)-musician or music magazine. But there were far too many long pauses and hesitations that slowed the whole thing down and made me stop listening. I feel a tighter edit would help this flow better, especially since it’s done over Zoom and is one on one.
Very powerful episode
Loved it Andy
Sorry to previous guests but that was the best
It helped me more than you know
Thank you X
