Paul’s podcast is the best I have found in this popular genre
Stories told without hyperbole but with enthusiasm by an enthusiast

Wow, some serious victim blaming going on!

Just stumbled across this and saw it had been enthusiastically reviewed. Got as far as episode 2, the Beast of Jersey, but was cringing so much at the victim blaming I couldn’t listen to any more. Ep 2 is supposedly about a violent rapist but vociferously blames one survivor for getting into the rapist’s car and questions another traumatised victim who ran for help rather than staying to physically fight him off her daughter. Can’t imagine how it would make the survivors feel to hear this! True crime reporting at its worst imho. Let’s remember that rapists are to blame for rape, not their victims.
