I'm thrilled to bring a long awaited return of the Listener penned episode this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, the work of listener Karen Mcleod, for a puzzling story that's fairly local to her, and one that poses the question:

Can someone simply vanish into thin air, on an afternoon walk? Perhaps - but then again, perhaps not....

With massive thanks to Karen Mcleod.

    Horror On The Horseshoe Pass

    Horror On The Horseshoe Pass

The roles of a parent are to love and guide their children, to protect them, and unquestionably - to never harm them.
For the episode that drops this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, we are back to the start of the 2000's, and to my home area of North Wales, for a tragic and horrifying tale that shows that sometimes, a parent disregards these simple roles - and does the unthinkable.

The events you will hear within are simply that. Unthinkable.

The episode contains details and descriptions of crimes and events, involving children, that some listeners may find offensive, disturbing, and or highly distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening.

    The Devil's 007

One of the strangest cases I have ever come across comes your way this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, for which we head down to East Sussex and back to the 1980's, to see just what happens when you chuck a plausible character, an enthusiastic rector, mind control discs, and wealth of very very cash happy Christians with deep pockets into a mix.

Oh yes - and Satan too. It's one of my favourite tales to have covered, and is a tale you won't believe.

Houses Of Blood: Butchered In The Basement Flat

This first a a regular series feature going forward comes here this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, as - living up to the title - we head back to 2017, and down to the picturesque Cornwall town of Marazion, for a tale of savage and callous butchery.

Some people really will post anything online, won't they?

    Web Of Lies

    Web Of Lies

At some point in our lives, we all tell a lie or two. Mostly little ones, embellishments. This time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, in a bit of deja vu, we are back down in Surrey to the mid 2000's, to hear the unbelieveable tale of an individual whose whole life seemed to be carried on lies. The most callous lies you can imagine.

But, can lies get you away with cold blooded murder? Some people would think so.

The episode contains details and descriptions of a crime and events, involving details of a sexual nature, and injury detail, that some listeners may find offensive, disturbing, and or distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening.

    Understudy

We head back to the late 1990's, and to the town of Warrington, in Cheshire, this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, for a sordid tale of sex, deceit - and brutal, pre-meditated murder. In fact, it's a tale that could almost be a television drama, certainly something scripted - and indeed, it has it's genesis in the theatre.

It's one you likely won't forget in a hurry, either.

The episode contains details and descriptions of a crime and events, involving details of a sexual nature, that some listeners may find offensive, disturbing, and or distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening.

Jacky Bushwhacker ,

Reliably interesting to listen to

I love this show. It is the only crime podcast that just doesn’t come out fast enough! I wish it was daily, not weekly! Thank you Paul for all your very hard work.

Joeyanna513 ,

One of the best!

I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, usually American or Australian hosts but the one UK hosted one that I love is True Crime Enthusiast!

Paul embodies the passion for true crime without glamorising it, he brings his own brand of brilliant humour and keeps his opinions fact based and transparent.

I consider myself to be a podcast enthusiast and this is definitely one of the best!

ArgyEll ,

Good Facts, Tasteless Humour

The factual content is interesting, but his attempts at humour are at best inappropriate - this is about real people being killed - usually weak, and occasionally misogynistic. He has enough good content and natural personality to dispense with the forced humour
