    S1E8: Grade A Blinkers/Oncoming Calamity

DESPAIR. My right hand man, my wing woman, my partner in crime. No matter how toxic, how draining, how uncomfortable, how unproductive - it's difficult to pay attention to the things that just feel normal. If despair has lived rent free in your body since the beginning of time it takes a hot minute to realise just how much it isn't serving you. Today I'm discussing long term trauma and why we shouldn't judge. We don't know how we would act if we had different experiences. Remember that. For others and for yourself.

Joy in shared pain

It’s taken me years to even begin to understand myself, my destructive behaviors. Driven by trauma, need for approval and acting to someone else’s script. Then to be able to forgive and laugh at myself.

Nice to hear the female version of my younger self doing the same. Only thing I can offer is that; by learning to be true to yourself, with age and a bit of wisdom, it gets a lot easier, and that vicious circles can become virtuous ones.

Thank you!

I wish I couldn’t relate, but I do - thank you so much!
