    For making an instant dhokla...1.Preparing the batter-- In a large mixing bowl add 2 & 1/2cup of gram flour, 1/3cup of semolina, 2tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of salt to ur preference, 1tbsp of cytric acid,add water according to the consistency. Beat the batter up to a free flowing & slightly thick... Keep this aside.... 2.steaming the batter--take a large pot or steamer.add water to that. Bring to boil. Meanwhile add 1/2 tbsp oil to 2inch box or plate. Grease the sides as well.... Now add 2 tbsp oil in batter & overthat add 1 tbsp of backing soda. Quickly mix everything well. Immediately pour this to the plate. Place the plate in steamer and cover it with large plate like parat... Steam it for 15 mins. Once done take-out the dhokla plate from steamer & keep on steel stand to cool down.....3.Tempering the Steamed dish--cook a sugar syrup. Firstly make the tadka. For tadka... Add 2 tbsp oil to tadka pan. After heating add 1/2 tbsp of mustard seeds. When they bring to crackle, add 2 sliced of green chillies, add 1 spring curry leaves, 1 tbsp sesame seeds...lastly pour 1 cup of water & 2 tbsp of sugar...stir a minute to dissolved the sugar..... Now as dhokla cools down, using a knife loose the sides and cut to squares. Add this sugar syrup on dhokla plate. Sprinkle it with fine chopped coriander leaves. #InstantRecipe #EasyRecipe #foodyloversrecipe
