As a physician who has worked in both African and America, I've always been interested in what it would take to bring care to where people live, instead of having them come to us. But in the process, we have to understand that we're entering people's lives, their space, their stories. So that's why healthcare has to ask, "Should I Take off My Shoes?" before it walks in.
