Trust Issues - Adam Smith “There’s No Coming Back From That“ - 6.23.24 South Hills Corona

    • Religion & Spirituality

When we count on someone and they take advantage of our trust, the pain can cause us to want to write them off forever. Are there situations where that’s ok? And if it’s not, what then? Are you just supposed to put your head down, ignore your feelings, cross your fingers, and pray it doesn’t happen again? That sounds stupid. And maybe even a bit dangerous. Is it realistic to think you can rebuild trust with someone once it’s been broken? If it is, how? And how long does it take? And how do you know when it’s done? What if you want to patch things up, but they don’t? What then? Are these questions even answerable?
