Welcome back to Serious Bakwaas and we are bringing you a series titled Building A Nation Through Sport. We will touch upon various topics related to sports, development, athletes, the sporting ecosystem in India, why India is still very behind the western world in terms of how sports in run and promoted in the country. We all know the names of Indian legends of the game like MC Mary Kom, Abhinav Bindra, Deepa Malik, Leander Paes, Milkha Singh and many more legends from Olympic and Paralympic disciplines and of course Cricket is like the pseudo National Sport of the country.

It’s important to normalise therapy and find someone that you can talk to about your mental health issues. So many of us suffer from it but very few come out and speak to someone. We got a mental health professional Ms Niharika Srivastava who is a clinical psychologist and runs her own channel called FeelingsForward. She has spoken to us very candidly about mental health and all the misconceptions that people have. She has explained it so simply that it is a very light podcast to listen to.

A very interesting and eye opening chat with Neeraj Kholiya - owner of Techtro Swades United which is a football team based in India. Inspiring story of how Neeraj started this club and took it from being a non professional club to the 3rd division of Indian football. Neeraj faced many difficulties because of the politics in India football but his hard work payed off in the end.
