Pregnancy Uncut is a podcast dedicated to exploring the often hidden, untold and traumatic stories of pregnancies that have not gone to plan. Hosted by doctors working in Women's Health, Dr Alex Umbers and Dr Kara Thompson, Pregnancy Uncut provides a soft place for these hard conversations. Each episode is dedicated to sharing the unique story of a courageous guest who has experienced a pregnancy that has not gone perfectly to plan.
The show provides a unique insight into the experiences such as infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, labour, pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, pre-term birth, fetal anomaly and post partum challenges such as prolapse, perineal trauma and perinatal mental health.
We hope Pregnancy Uncut will help raise public awareness, create hope and a support network for people who have experienced or know someone affected by pregnancy and it's related complications.
