Tourism and sustainability--are they dueling forces or symbiotic? Can they be both at the same time? In today’s podcast we will engage with his dilemma in order to arm ourselves with the necessary information for our future travels, should we choose to travel at all. We’re going to take a step by step look into how to travel right in accordance with the environment and various interlinked factors. First, we will talk about whether to travel at all considering factors such as the environment and the economy. Then, assuming we are saying “yes” to travel, we will learn more about flying and how to mitigate certain negative impacts it has on the environment, including a discussion on carbon offsets. Lastly, where should you fly to? We will discuss the role of carbon neutral hotels in the world of tourism through an interview with an owner himself, Ewald Biemans from the  Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort in Aruba.
