No one knew more about football than Seattle Sports' human database for everything NFL: “The Professor” John Clayton. His lifelong obsession with the game elevated Clayton from high school sports reporter to the writers’ wing of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. John sadly passed away on March 18, 2022, yet his legacy lives on through his intimate knowledge about the game of football.

Teacher’s Pet Lowers Show’s Quality
I like the overall show concept and John but there are some glaring things that can be done that would make it more enjoyable:
A. Stop putting JB up first where his phone reception is lousy, his talk subj CT’s are tiring as he basically parrots John and he takes up at least 40% of the 50 minute show!
B. John is proud that he can multi task while doing his show, but he really doesn’t do a good job! He shows distant and uninterested when you can tell that he is in his computer or texting someone else.
C. The sho needs to have better access for callers such as a way to talk over SN and not just the phone. It was oils be good to add a section where listeners can write in questions ahead of the show (for us overseas listeners)
Correct these areas and ratings will increase!
