Making Awesome - 3D Printing, Inventing, Making, Small Business 3D Musketeers

This week we are joined by Robert of @Armored_Turtle-RK who we met at @rmrrf where he showed us his awesome project 8-Track, an OPEN SOURCE AMS compatible with ANY Klipper Printer! We figured a podcast is better than a short interview, so buckle up as we dive into what makes this possible!

Robert Klotz - I make and share a wide variety of 3d printed projects, most notably 8-Track.



8-Track is a modular automated filament changing system. At it's core it as simple as a lane based MMU can get. Being modular 8-track is not only scalable but can employ from the most basic of features to full fledged spool management and inventory.

8-Track is a WIP.

The idea of The Positron 3D Printer is one that just makes you go "huh" seemingly designed to be hard mode for 3d printing, it actually can fold up and fit into a standard filament box!
