Burke is currently an analyst for NHL Network so the guys peppered him with questions on both the Eastern and Western Conference Final and got some great answers on Matthew Tkachuk's ability to overcome "average" skating, Jack Eichel's unique skating style, Sergei Bobrovsky being "in the zone" and Jamie Benn's undisciplined play in Game 4. Plus, he shared his thoughts on the growth of the NHL in non traditional markets, the GM opening in Toronto, potential landing spots for Brad Treliving and how the size of the Vegas Golden Knights have impacted their opponents play. The guys opened up the episode talking about each Conference Final series and whether or not they believe the Dallas Stars or Carolina Hurricanes can overcome a 3-0 deficit. They wrapped the episode with some news and notes, including their reaction on Kyle Dubas and the Maple Leafs parting ways and the Calgary Flames hiring their new GM.

    Dan and Shawn were joined by NHL.com's Boston-based staff writer Amalie Benjamin to talk all things Bruins, how they lost to the Panthers, what went wrong, who is to blame and why, and what happens from here, including the future of Patrice Bergeron. The guys looked ahead to the second round and had a healthy discussion about the series between the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers, with Rosen praising Edmonton's depth and saying it deserves more credit and Roarke praising Vegas' depth and saying it's going to be the difference in the series. They dove into opinions on the Devils against the Carolina Hurricanes, and the Panthers against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Finally, they looked at how the Seattle Kraken and Dallas Stars series could play out.

Zeisberger went over reasons why this year looks and feels different, most notably the fact that their top players are coming through in the clutch and the additions of forwards Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari before the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline are paying big dividends. In addition, the guys went around the rest of the playoffs, touching on each series. They offered reasons why the New Jersey Devils have come back from 2-0 and wonder if Gerard Gallant's criticism of the team was the right motivational tactic. They both don't like the Winnipeg Jets' chances of winning three straight against the Vegas Golden Knights, and neither expressed concern for the Colorado Avalanche despite being locked in a 2-2 series against the Seattle Kraken.
