HOW PUBLICITY CAN HELP MAKE THE DIFFERENCE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL OR A BRAND’S SUCCESS

In a world of constant stimulations, how can a brand, person or product stand out in the market today? How can we connect with consumers in a way where they want to learn about what we are doing, selling or have created? PR can truly help create the visibility one needs to find their audience, fans or customers. It can help create the stickiness to help build brand loyalty and the intrigue one needs to want to learn more about you or your brand.

The job of a publicist is to carefully but strategically, shape and mold the public image of an artist, entertainer, brand or company while knowing when and where is best to help them into the limelight as well as when it is best for them to wait. Finding a PR professional or publicity firm that can do a great job of positioning oneself or one's brand with their own spin can be a game changer for what can help propel visibility, brand loyalty, and intrigue. PETER LAMAS ON HOW A CUBAN-BORN ENTREPRENEUR GREW HIS BUSINESS INTO A WORLD-RENOWN HAIR SOLUTIONS, BEAUTY AND WELLNESS BRAND

Peter Lamas is a name known by many and his products are trusted by many celebrities and customers around the world. What is it about his brand that makes the difference? In a world of abundant options, what makes us want to try new products? Is it our friends recommendations or reviews we read online? Is it because a product is cruelty free, or is it because a notable name we love, swears by the product and not because they are paid for it - but just because they love it?

On todays episode of OWC's Leaders & GameChangers, Setorii speaks with the man that has worked with and been trusted by Hollywood’s most elite icons. Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Diana Ross, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Cindy Crawford, Gloria Vanderbilt, Kate Winslet, and Faye Dunaway - to name just a few.

Peter Lamas and Setorii will speak about the beauty and wellness industries, how to create a loved brand, how to find the right investors for your brand, how to move forward when one chooses the wrong person to lead the team, what goes into creating products that are good for our bodies, how to get on QVC and sell out a product over and over on their network. Peter will also share his entrepreneurial tips and as well as lessons or insights by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn that only he could share.

Lamas began his career at Vidal Sassoon, training directly with the legendary Sassoon. Peter Lamas and his team's passion and devotion to create products that are effective and healthy for us, has helped his products continuously sell out on QVC and all over the world. Both Peter and his President of Lamas Beauty International, Daniel Sanders missions have been to create and provide premium hair solutions, hydrating skin-care products, rejuvenating body-care as well as anti-aging products that are free of harmful chemicals and have not been tested on animals.

Peter's products have been carefully created with special formulations using herbs, vitamins and botanicals and have been a reoccurring must have for customers who look for 100% vegan, no animal testing, paraffin-free, sulfate-free, with organic ingredients. His hair care line was one of the first ever to be paraben-free, sodium lauryl sulfate-free and petrochemical-free. For many of us that may not know what paraffin is, paraffin is commonly used in products like candles, cheese, jams, makeup and hair products but they can be harmful. For example, paraffin candle emissions have been reported to taint air quality or cause lung disorders. Sulfates have been said to cause varying levels of skin and eye irritations in sensitive people while drying out skin and hair and sometimes bring out acne. These are just a few reasons why it is important for consumers to find products like Peter's that can help your body get what it needs to help your body rebuild or strengthen itself.

STAND OUT IN THE MARKET, RAISE MONEY, AND LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS — HOW NADAMOO! DID IT ALL TO CREATE A BRAND ADORED BY MILLIONS

Americans eat more ice cream than anywhere else in the world. Ice cream is not only a summertime essential, Ice cream is a treat loved by the world. Hollywood has glamorized ice cream in films like, Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn - The muppet movie with Bob Hope, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, The Notebook, The Shining… are just a few films which showcased this familiar guilty pleasure.

The origins of ice cream are thought to date back to the Roman Empire. Traditional ice cream and gelatos are made with animal products such as milk and cream, which gets its dense and addictive richness from the fats found in dairy but look how far we have come today with all the flavors and options to choose from!

Many people have not been able to enjoy ice cream through the years due to their dietary restrictions, allergies and diets. Since 2005, NadaMoo! was ahead of the times and a leader in the plant based dessert market. The founder of NadaMOO! was Amy Ramm and she created a new segment in the market by giving people an alternative option for a new kind of creamy ice cream base without the moo we are used to expecting. Amy wanted to make a better version of a healthy ice cream and thanks to a fateful tasting with her friend Matt, who was one of the owners of Juiceland on Barton Springs Road in Austin, he insisted on selling it and it gained momentum quickly by catching the attention of Whole Foods and the rest is history.

On this episode of Leaders & GameChangers, Setorii will speak with the man that has helped change a dessert industry. Daniel Nicholson was so inspired what what he tasted and saw, he joined the NadaMoo! team and swiftly after joining he set out to help continue to develop and create different flavors with their team and the market loved them. Daniel is the President and CEO of NadaMOO! and he, his family and the NadaMOO! team have steered their company towards continued growing success thanks to their passions for the brand, devotion to making things better and while also making sustainably smart choices to help the environment. They are a certified B corp business and

People fell in love with the coconut based ice cream options NadaMoo! has continued to create and deliver. Their dairy free alternative flavors are even more delicious today, if that is possible and you can learn more about their flavors here. The global dairy alternatives market size was valued at around USD 23.2 billion in 2021 and it is the coconut plant-based ingredient which helps provide the creaminess we have all grown to love from dairy without the side effects dairy can have on our bodies. Existing capital partners, District Ventures Capital, InvestEco, and new partner Killam Investments believed in the continuing success of NadaMOO!'s journey so much they smartly invested a raise of nearly $10M in 2021 which shows us all how many are cheering on this family operated and Austin based company.

EXPLAINING THE 40-YEAR MOVEMENT: A SIT DOWN WITH THE CREATORS OF THE STILL WORKING 9 TO 5 DOCUMENTARY & LEARNING FROM DOLLY PARTON, LILY TOMLIN AND JANE FONDA

EXPLAINING THE 40-YEAR MOVEMENT: A SIT DOWN WITH THE CREATORS OF THE STILL WORKING 9 TO 5 DOCUMENTARY & LEARNING FROM DOLLY PARTON, LILY TOMLIN AND JANE FONDA

When we think of films, we want to be entertained and taken to new places. We want to experience ranges of excitement and walk away from what we saw feeling like we learned or feel something new. The entertainment industry has kept us enamored for centuries. From the silent era to today - entertainment has always helped us enter a fantasy world, and have a new experience by leaving us feeling a wave of emotions that only films, music, documentaries and tv can help us achieve.

Some films can inspire us to be better while others can be the catalyst for conversation to happen and documentaries can help reveal the true essence of what makes a person, film, or moments in time so special. Have a passion for making documentary films? Want to learn how to successfully share the making of a film while bringing the story to life and make it inspiring to viewers today? On this episode of OWC’s Leaders & GameChangers, Setorii speaks with the team that put their hearts and souls into creating a documentary that not only moves the needle for so many around the world but shows us what the right kind of storytelling can do when we see things from a new perspective.

The 9 to 5 film was and is about empowerment. Audiences immediately fell in love with the three working women, Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin had enough of the office dynamics they were dealing with and they playfully schemed their way to hold their boss accountable in a comedic, clever and sneaky way by turning the tables on him. This wasn’t just a film, it was the start of a movement and it was a tone. This was a voice for so many people in the workplace dealing with uneven visibility, pay and opportunities.

Directors Camille Hardman, Gary Lane, Executive Producer Larry Lane, and Director of Photography Brian Tweedt - spent 4 years making this inspiring documentary about the 9 to 5 film and they brought Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin together to give us deeper insights and never herd before moments about the making of it. Camille, Gary, Larry, Brian and their team together helped craft a beautiful collection of powerful interviews, highlighting key moments and help us appreciate the genius of the original film through fresh eyes.

The documentary’s closing credits also includes the timeless 9 to 5 song we all have loved since Dolly Parton created it and you will be able to hear a new version that Kelly Clarkson made which Dolly and Kelly created a duet remake of it together. This driven team was able to highlight powerful messages, elevate many that have been making a true difference around the world and they help us learn through this documentary that when we come together we can inspire change for the good.

KISS THE GROUND CO-FOUNDER, RYLAND ENGELHART – HOW TO HELP STABILIZE EARTH’S CLIMATE & HOW TO MAKE DOCUMENTARIES THAT INSPIRE CHANGE

KISS THE GROUND CO-FOUNDER, RYLAND ENGELHART – HOW TO HELP STABILIZE EARTH’S CLIMATE & HOW TO MAKE DOCUMENTARIES THAT INSPIRE CHANGE

We live in a world of efficiency, immediate gratification, and constant stimulations. We also live in a time where time itself feels scarce and because of it everything needs to be quicker but is quicker better?

When we think of quality, what comes to mind? Do you think about artisan products, where companies or individuals creating them give their time graciously to create them? From the food that we eat, from the packaging we choose, from the pesticides we use, from the planet many of us are trying to heal... by correcting the damage both efficiency and industrialization has caused, can we reverse climate change? Is healing our planet something that will cost trillions or zillions of dollars? Will we see it in our lifetime and is it possible? Thanks to my guest on today’s episode of OWC’s Leaders & GameChangers, I have never felt more certain it is and it is a solution that is simpler then we could imagine.

I’d like to ask you to now think about the source of where things begin. Where does our food come from? What have we not thought about looking at? It's time we look down. Farmers love to use it and dogs love to play on it. We walk on it every day. What is it? Soil. Ryland Engelhard is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of Kiss The Ground and he has been championing and sharing how fixing our soil will reverse climate change, make our nutrients in our foods better, make land quality thrive, help animals live better by letting nature do what it naturally was created to do.

Ryland and the Kiss The Ground team created the inspiring Kiss The Ground documentary which was narrated by actor Woody Harrelson and directed by Joshua Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell. The optimistic and eye opening climate documentary featured Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady, Jason Mraz, Ian Somerhalder, Rosario Dawson, David Arquette, Patricia Arquette, and others trying to help bring awareness to this powerful and yet attainable solution. Notable names support the KTG film and movement like Adrian Grenier, Jason Alexander, Frances Fisher, Amy Smart, John Paul DeJoria, Corey Feldman and more. The film explains how pesticides and tilling have harmed our soil which effect the entire eco-system. They help us learn that there is a healing power in the soil itself and if we help our dirt and the microbiomes living in it,
