I don’t know how many times I’ve had an opinion on something I heard on the news that sounds outrageous. Then I listen to McCarthy for his analysis. Often, his analysis allows me to see the complexity of the issue and reconsider my opinion. Sometimes, he agrees that something I thought was outrageous, was outrageous. Key thing is, McCarthy gives you his analysis, like it or not. He knows his stuff and he applies logic and consistency to his analysis. That is all I can ask for in an analyst. It is a shame that it is such a rare quality. Bottom line, I rely on McCarthy’s analysis and this podcast allows me to hear his ideas more fully than on a short cable news hit.
