On Windrush Day 2020, we were celebrating with a Rum punch in hand in Hyde Park and saw a team of beautiful black women dancing gracefully on Rollerskates. We ran up to them and spoke with their leader, Ishariah (she/her) who kindly agreed to come on and chat about the community and industry. Ishariah kindly gives us insight into this black-led industry which we knew little of, the art that is rollerskating and the strong community that it represents. We also touch on unconventional blackness, Ishariahs global success and more. We loved this chat and hope you guys do too!
