PODCAST: THE TALKING CURE, conversations with Jedediah Wheeler.

The Talking Cure” are informal conversations between Montclair State University’s Executive Director for Arts + Cultural Programming Jedediah Wheeler and innovative artists and administrators from PEAK Performances' local and worldwide community. When looking at each work in the 2019/2020 PEAK season through the multidimensional optic of language, consider that each event is in some way
singularly influenced by the metaphor.

Learning a new language to make new art.
Dancers internalize language.
Vanishing voices.
Dance vocabulary
Diversity is cultural language
Old language for new sounds.
His unique language was not heard in his lifetime
A new language emerges from old words
An original dance voice goes quiet

Politics of language
Theater without words
