ဒီဇိုင်းပညာရှင်တစ်ဦးဖြစ်သလို အလွတ်တန်းဓာတ်ပုံသတင်းထောက်လည်း ဖြစ်သည့် ကိုစိုးနိုင်သည် စစ်ကောင်စီတပ်ဖွဲ့၏ ဖမ်းဆီးခံရပြီးနောက် ၃ ရက်အကြာတွင် စစ်ကြောရေးစခန်း၌ သေဆုံးသွားကြောင်း မိသားစုဝင်နှင့် နီးစပ်သူများက အတည်ပြု ပြောကြားသည်။

A freelance photographer killed by junta forces

December 14, Yangon

Ko Soe Naing, a freelance photographer and graphic designer, was killed in the interrogation after three days of arrest by security forces, said relatives and friends.

He was arrested on 10 December while taking photos of the silent strike in Latha Township, Yangon, and killed as a result of torture by junta security forces.

"He's a quiet person who doesn't talk a lot. I can't believe it," a closed friend told BAP.

With him, one photographer was also arrested but BAP was unable to confirm it.

About 90 people were killed in the interrogation following their arrest and Ko Soe Naing became the first journalist killed in the interrogation.
