YALLWEST invites over 100 authors and presenters along with local and acclaimed young adult and middle grade writers, plus notable TV, film, video game, and comic creators. It's a day of panels, book signings, food trucks, bad jokes, rock 'n' roll, killer photo ops & general geeky shenanigans.

In the first episode of the YALLCAST, we revisit one of our panels from 2018's YALLWEST festival. In Sorry Not Sorry, Maurene Goo moderates a discussion on unapologetically ambitious girls: why do we love writing them, and why can they be so hard to write? Maurene is joined by panelists Laurie Devore, Marie Lu, Richelle Mead, Lauren Oliver, and Tamora Pierce.
