Interview w/ Dan & Dave - Luminate the Day | Healthy Hustling Podcast w/ Dr. Eric Broadworth

Dave Halvorson, founder of Windy Willow Foundation, and Dan Post, program coordinator of the Phoenix, sit down with Dr. Eric Broadworth to discuss Luminate The Day, a CrossFit competition sponsored by Fuel Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, located in Grand Rapids, MI.

Luminary Fitness and 8th Day Gym are coming together to put on a CrossFit competition to raise awareness for our community of health and wellness.

Luminate The Day is 100% nonprofit, where the event will be working to raise funds for Windy Willow Foundation and The Phoenix. Windy Willow Foundation is a nonprofit that provides financial aid for mental health services as well as partner with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to support local programs. The Phoenix is a nonprofit that uses the transformative power of community and connection to build a sober active community all over the US. All programs The Phoenix offers are free!

LTD will begin at Luminary Fitness on May 21st, 2022 at 8:20am, check-in beginning at 7am. The event will then move locations around 12pm to 8th Day to finish the day. The coming together of gyms symbolizes the interconnectedness of community, which we hope to exemplify throughout our day.

Rx/Scaled
Men/Women

Athletes:
LTD will feature Rx/Scaled divisions for teams of three men or three women. The Rx division is programmed to be competitive where Scaled is designed to be extremely accessible to any who are interested. Both divisions have a high emphasis on experience and a well-rounded test of fitness.
