Kill The Judge

Kill The Judge
Kill The Judge Podcast

In this podcast, dark subject matter is the rule, not the exception. Serial killers, war, genocide, etc. are all things I'll cover—there's a reason this podcast is in the EXPLICIT category, so I likely won't ever give a "due to the graphic nature of this episode..." preamble. Covering such topics is emotionally draining though, so I'll often discuss other topics too. Episode length will vary: some could be very long (hours) or even multi-part, others might be short ( half an hour), and every duration above and between. My plan is to do this podcast the rest of my life. My goal is for it to develop into an amazing community that does a lot of good in the world. Take care and thank you for your time.

0.0.1.0 - START HERE / Intro.: UPDATE - Episode Naming Convention

I decided to change the episode-prefix naming convention from 3 to 4 digits. A fourth digit allows me to easily manage multi-part series—with only three, what would've been hard to do. Digits, from left to right: The first is the episode number. The second is the "part" number—if it is zero, it's not a multipart series. As soon as it becomes one, the zero for the first part will be changed to a 1., and the second part to 2, etc. The third is the update or tangent number. The fourth is the update or tangent for an update or tangent. Example: "4.3.2.1." would be the first update or tangent to the second update or tangent for the third part of the fourth episode. Some advantages to preceding proper episode names with these digits is that if you're using a podcast player that allows you to sort episodes lexicographically / alphanumerically, doing so will automatically group episodes such that you can conveniently find all episodes and there parts / updates regardless of release date—some podcast players only allow you to sort by release date though, which in this case, the convention probably won't help you much. Another advantage is that you can at-a-glance determine whether some episodes are multipart, etc. Let's say "4.3.2.1." came out today and you decided to start there. By naming convention alone, you already know episode 4 has at least 3 parts,  at least 2 part-3 tangents, and at least 1 part-3-2nd-tangent parts or tangents. Might be confusing at first, but I hope it's beneficial in the long run.

2.0.0.0.-NOT AFRAID: A Book by Daniele Bolelli

I don't know Daniele, but first learned of Daniele through Joe Rogan's podcast. On every Rogan appearance, I always appreciated how laid back and knowledgeable Daniele was. Through them I learned of Daniele's "History on Fire" podcast, which I enjoy a lot. Relatively recently did I learn that he has another podcast, "The Drunken Taoist podcast", which I highly enjoy. What I am most impressed by is that Daniele is this kind of person after experiencing massive hardship. He took care of his wife while she was dying of a brain tumor, and when she passed, was solely responsible for their then 19-month-old daughter. This episode is about his book, "NOT AFRAID: On Fear, Heartbreak, Raising a Baby Girl, and Cage Fighting." He talks about his life and many of the hard lessons that shaped him into who he is. Especially in part 2 of the book, I often had tears streaming down my face and damn near "ugly cried" a couple times, which I haven't done in years. I read quite a bit from the book, but in no way did I come close to covering all of it—I often skipped entire chapters, and even some of the "best" parts of the book. I hope that if this book moves you in any way, you consider buying it or at least showing Daniele your support in some way.Not Afraid: https://www.amazon.com/Not-Afraid-Heartbreak-Raising-Fighting/dp/1938875133/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=not+afraid+daniele&qid=1571582315&sr=8-1History on Fire podcast: http://historyonfirepodcast.com/ The Drunken Toaist Podcast: http://thedrunkentaoist.com/
