104: Finding Your Inner Spark Again
When we lose our spark and motivation, and we’re in this limbo energy where we may feel directionless and in a loop of the same mundane things We can see it as an inner flame that is dimly lit – the following suggestions are ways in which we can ignite and add to our inner fire. 1. Pouring more energy into the self, investing in compassionate empowering self-talk, placing your dreams at the forefront of your mind vs fears + worries (self-sabotage bc we were inadvertently told we didn’t deserve to be happy or think of ourselves first). Putting yourself first is key if you’re a recovering people pleaser – bc people-pleasing, saying yes, and having little boundaries will drain our energy fast – when we lose ourselves in the wants of others, we begin to lose our connection to self and our inner flame. This happens in relationships too if we have a tendency to be over-nurturing and find it challenging to Receive energy. we’ll give so much of our own energy that we become depleted. That rejection to receiving, coupled with over-giving, is like depriving our inner flame of oxygen; it needs that oxygen to burn. 2. Finding what motivates you – is it freedom, love, joy, creativity, or connection? You can find the answer by asking yourself questions like, “what kind of life would cause me to jump out of bed early and happily begin my day? What am I doing in this dream day that makes me so excited?” “what does success look like to me?” you can start as small as you want to - but visualize this, write down what you’re doing, and from there you can see what energies are fueling you in your dream day – freedom, love, newness, creativity, etc. Once you find the energy that truly motivates you – think of one or two activities that are going to bring similar energy to you. if you are looking for freedom – what can you do daily that will help you feel free? It can be as small as visualizing your ideal life in the morning for a couple of minutes. 3. Tuning into Source energy – if you’re feeling fatigued and that’s playing a role in not feeling connected to your inner spark, this is energy that can be shifted into something that serves you in a higher way. A few techniques to shift fatigue - Rebirthing breathwork aka circle breath (back to the fire needing oxygen analogy), EFT tapping on fatigue, high frequencies like 432 or 528 hertz, programmed water, reiki for empaths/letting go/releasing energy that isn’t yours, and a nourishing morning routine that pours energy into elevating you - empowering, inspiring, and reminding you of my divinity and sovereignty. 4. Lastly, follow your intuition – that comes with a deeper connection to the self, which the last 3 steps will help with!
