NYC father Shams, Da Homeless Hero's story continues this week as he shares more about his work advocating for people experiencing homelessness. He emphasizes the need for housing to end homelessness and talks about his engagement with key decision-makers, including the Adams's Administration, to impact policy and help address issues related to homelessness. While Shams's unique lived experience going through foster care, being on the streets, the family shelter system with his son, and more, came with many challenges, he rose up to be a part of the inspiration in the fight to end homelessness.
