Although sport has not been centre stage for Trump, it is certainly a big part of his second-term agenda, with the FIFA World Cup and 2028 Olympic Games set to take place in the US under his reign. Marion McKeone, US-based political reporter, and Mark Cannizzaro, sports writer with the New York Post, joined Joe to break down how Trump’s influence in areas including golf, trans athletes and his apparent victory lap at the recent Super Bowl are all a part of the wider game-plan for the current administration.
