EP 1211 - The GAP In Sports Parenting

Athlete Maestro Podcast

The GAP in sports and parenting often lies between the moment a child begins showing potential in sports and the time parents truly recognize and understand that potential.

During this period, many young athletes miss out on the guidance and support they need to develop their skills effectively. As a sport parents, you need to shorten that gap. Also, ensure you're putting the work in that gap

Bridging this gap requires parents to be observant, engage in their child’s sports journey early, and provide encouragement without undue pressure. By closing this gap, parents can help their children reach their full potential while fostering a positive and supportive environment.
