mathiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ,

Why is Mel acting?

For the last few episodes I’ve noticed that Mel seems to know everything her interviewees are gonna say and in the Jim Quick episode it’s obvious to me that she knows his techniques already but makes it seem like she doesn’t. She’s over the top surprised at his suggestion. Is this really real? Why do all this acting?
