Olympian, Rehab Nurse and Manager Rachael Lynch
We sat down with Olympian and Registered Nurse Rachael Lynch
Born in Melbourne, Lynch took up hockey after being selected in the primary schools state team. She is now a veteran Hockeyroo, dual Olympian, dual Commonwealth Games gold medalist, and World Cup silver medalist, and has played in over 220 games for Australia. Off the pitch, Lynch works as a registered nurse, front line health worker, runs STOMP Goalkeeping and is very active in promoting mental health awareness as an ambassador for RUOK? Day and Lifeline.

Disaster Nursing Preparedness
We sat down with Dr Karen Hammad, who is a Fellow of the College of Emergency Nursing Australasia (CENA), senior lecturer and nurse researcher. She has been recently working in Papua New Guinea consulting for the World Health Organization on the spread of COVID-19. She holds a PhD, is a business owner and passionate about disaster preparedness and nursing!
