Shows like this are expensive, and require poster runs, design work, video work, fees for guests, train tickets, flights, accomodation, photos, giving Meta money to put it in your Instagram feeds and a selection of assorted booze backstage — with out a regular Patreon kitty to draw from each month — it's impossible to break even.
We had a great time, and made a great show!
1,000,000 downloads really isn't a huge amount, but it's a FUN amount with a lot of 0s. And when you're looking at reasons to talk about the show, it's a great one.
I was hosting an event today in Wollongong where folks came up to talk about A Rational Fear, a woman at the gym yesterday said she recently discovered it and loved Peter Dutton hosting the end of year special.
More and more people are joining our little community, and it brings me joy that we're, yes i'm including you, this ragtag bunch of troublemakers having a fun time calling BS from the sidelines.
It's fun.
Hopefully, we're making you laugh, give you a sense of catharsis, and when we pull of stunts from time to time, hope you feel kind-of powerful.
