Dr. Klapper went surfing recently tells a story about his experience. Guest Dave Denholm joins Dr. Klapper to talk about soccer star Diego Maradona. Dave is the play-by-play announcer for LAFC and recently called their championship game. He originally got into soccer when the World Cup came to the United States in 1994 and soon after this the MLS started. The US team actually made it past group rounds and it was a very exciting time. One of his tricks of the trade is pronouncing foreign names which he learned at Fox Soccer. Dave talks about how no one played better soccer than Diego Maradona and how he was so beautiful to watch. The sport of soccer is built on passion and that is exactly what Diego played with. Dave says "legend" isn't a good enough word to describe Diego. Dr. Klapper opens the phone lines to speak to listeners with his own brand of "Klapper Vision".
