Oh to Be a Hot Girl on Social Media with The Branding Queen Des Dobreva

None of Your Business

Being a hot girl on social media these days doesn’t come without its ups and downs. (Trust me, I know! *hair flip*) JK :P

On the bright side, a "hot girl" typically has a huge following and can use their social media as a platform to easily get attention, which then, when used correctly, can turn into sales.

On the down side however, while a hot girl may be receiving attention from followers who view them as eye candy or "online celebrities", it may not always translate into real growth and success in their business.

Believe me, I've seen hot girls do amazing 7-figure launches, and I've also seen some make huge flops. (Hey, same for men, too!)

The gap between popularity and creating something of value is far too wide for outwards beauty alone to bridge. This is why I sat down and chatted with Des Dobreva, our resident "hot girl" to talk about what it's like to build her business using social media.

Get ready for the ruckus as we....

  • Define what a "hot girl" is and how we also perceive them as business owners
  • Discuss how she used her looks to her advantage to start her online business journey
  • Tell stories about what it's like to come from a developing country, then do business in more developed countries, and people back home using your looks to invalidate what you do
  • Talk about good and bad "hot girl experiences" on social media
  • Learn about one of the best lessons about posting on social (note: this ONE THING specifically separates being a senseless word vomit vs. being elegantly vulnerable)

It's easy to either get triggered or get inspired by some hot girl on social media. At the end of the day, good business beats everything else, and in the internet age, feedback and results are easy to prove.

Either way-- if I was made to choose between being hot or not, I'd still choose to be hot. ;)
