SUBSCRIBER EXCLUSIVE: 21-year-old Kristi Johnson moved to Hollywood, California with big dreams. Those dreams came to an abrupt end when she was murdered in February 2003 by a man named Victor Paleologus. Posing as a film producer, Paleologus lured Kristi to the Hollywood Hills, where he strangled her to death. In October 2006, Paleologus was sentenced to 25 years to life with the possibility of parole. This fall, he will have his first parole hearing – five years early. Keith Morrison speaks with Kristi’s mother, Terry Hall, to discuss her life in the 20 years since her daughter’s murder and her determination to keep Paleologus behind bars.
