It was years later, when Katie’s killer was convicted of another crime, that DNA connected him to her murder. So, even as she grieved, Jayann took on a mission: to advocate for broadening law enforcement’s ability to gather DNA evidence. Twenty years later, Jayann sits down with Josh Mankiewicz to talk about grief, faith and the national impact she’s made.
