Wine for Normal People
A podcast for people who like wine but not the snobbery that goes with it. I talk about wine in a fun, straightforward, normal way to get you excited about it and help you drink better, more interesting stuff. About half the shows feature guests and are informal but educational discussions between me and a passionate wine friend –they aren't interviews. All guests are personal friends or friends of friends in wine so like any conversation between friends, we’ll talk back and forth, interrupt each other, laugh and have fun, debate tough questions, voice our opinions, and most of all, enjoy sharing our time together and with you! The Wine For Normal People book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and many local booksellers. Back catalog available on Patreon.com/winefornormalpeople

I have discovered your podcast a month ago. I love it. I listen to all the podcast starting from #1 in January 2011. I will listen to all of them. I will not skip a single one!!! Right now I am on #60 from 2012. My wife Anita and myself we love wine. We started our adventure with wine with from Georgia (at the Black see). Red and white (Kvanchkara, Saperavi, Tbilisuri). It became a love to wine. We traveled to Hungary where we met Egri Bikaver, than in Croatia we drank fantastic Crljenak and from your podcast we learned why we liked so much Primitivo in Italy and Zinfandel when we had the chance to be in California. We love wines from the New World. We were always opened for good bargains from South Africa, South America, Australia and California. With your podcasts our choices are more informative. We are very much devoted to Spain with its Rioja. Portugal was our greatest discovery with Porto, Vino Verde!!!!, and the reds there. Our daughter moved to Bordeaux this year. Your podcast encourage us to be more open to French wines. We will give them one more chance. We are normal people and we hate the snobbery therefore we love your podcast. We live in Poland, Poland is a no-wine country, unfortunately, or fortunately (if you try the poor attempts to produce wine in Poland). But who knows the climate is changing. With your podcast we gain the courage to describe wines and our choices with our own language. We try to find the wine vocabulary in Polish. We share this information with our friends and enjoy their vocabulary and description. This is a lot of fun when you play the wine language game with your friends while sipping.
