Let’s talk about permission to evolve in motherhood with Kelley Oswin

More than Moms with Nicole Weston

Today I am sharing one of the most popular episodes on my podcasts. The evolution of motherhood.

Kelley and I dive into the evolving roles of motherhood and how mothers are essentially our first “life coach”.  We talk about the importance of letting go of guilt and creating space for gentleness so we can ask for help and be fully present for our children.

Kelley shares her story from the early days of being a mother and shares all the ‘realness’. Kelley believes her story can help redefine motherhood, “because it is all about how we can use our own inner healing as a pathway to motherhood.

That we can allow ourselves to move through guilt, shame, insecurities by further exploring the roots of those challenges in a way that helps us heal them.

I’m also very big on releasing the “right” and “wrong” of motherhood and to explore motherhood as everyone’s “right” journey and that our children do indeed choose us as a way for us to move through our own Self and to become who our children need us to be for them and their healing. It is about releasing self judgement and moving to unconditional love.”
