The Talk Show With John Gruber

The new talk show is very different from the old one. I like it much better.

John "I don't know" Gruber is not the best podcast host. In the past, with Dan Benjamin he was, though, capable of creating an interesting duo. My main no-no about Gruber is how he's just became Apple's apologists. Lack of balance, not much objectivity, not much fun, plain boring. But if one considers that being Apple fan just pays off for Gruber, one realizes that Gruber just doesn't want to be more objective.

Way worse than The Talk Show taped with 5by5. No good anchor for the show as John Gruber can't keep his guests in line and shows no indication what this show may be. Less interesting, way less funny. If you want, invest your time into listening archives from 5by5. This one is not worth the time.
