Friends of Field Workers is a commendable non-profit organization founded  by Judy Lucas and Ted Lucas. Martita, (Executive Director) Christine (President) driven by their shared commitment to supporting those toiling in the fields. Their journey began with a shared vision to make a meaningful impact on the lives of agricultural workers and their families. The organization has since flourished, offering four vital programs that address diverse needs. "Adopt a Family" connects compassionate individuals with farming families, fostering a sense of community. "Laundry Love" recognizes the basic necessity of clean clothes, providing assistance to field workers in maintaining personal hygiene. Through their "Scholarships" initiative, they empower the next generation by facilitating educational opportunities. Additionally, the "Emergency Funds" program offers crucial financial support during unforeseen crises, ensuring stability for those who sustain our agricultural backbone. Friends of Field Workers stands as a testament to the positive change achievable through community-driven initiatives.
