I love the Enormocast, from the intro and self produced ads to the deep well of quests. Every episode has something special about it. Hopefully they are preserving this in the library of Congress, but I doubt it. Keep it up Kalous!

I'm an old listener, going back through all the old episodes. Loved the one with Barber and Clune, two climbers from my generation. As a climber of 40+ years and with about that many in the "industry" too it's fun to hear about what's going on behind the scenes. Jim Erickson episode was the best!

I am a 72 year old, who lives in Iowa and doesn’t climb, but this is my favorite podcast. I have listened to most, if not all, of the episodes. The last episode #276 was so good it it motivated this 5 star review.

As only an infrequent rock climber and mountaineer, I just discovered Chris’ podcast, but it is a excellent. While his experience and personal knowledge of many of the climbs and ascents gives him a groundwork for the interviews, the relaxed format, rapport with the guests, and probing questions takes the podcast to a higher level. The interviewees are a blend of iconic and new climbers which makes the whole series an evolving body of work that covers much of the breadth of the climbing scene from straight up rock climbing to current alpinism. Great work.

I’m new to this podcast and listened to a few during a long road trip. I enjoyed them and learned from them. Chris did a great job interviewing the esteemed climbers and leading them into conversations which gave me insights into who they were as people and what was important to them and what brought them to climbing. As a long time mountaineer and extreme hiker, I understand the drive it takes to pursue a dream and to keep pushing long after most have turned back. Thanks for letting us in to these very interesting people’s thoughts and positions regarding a sport to which they have dedicated so much. The conversations really made me think of my own journey.

What else can you say but the Enormocast is THE preeminent climbing podcast. Absolute classic with all the big names and plenty youve never heard of. Kalous just keeps doing it. Always gets me stoked to go climbing!
