Episode 12: 3 Easy Yet Effective Ways To Manage Self-Doubt
Self-doubt. 👀
It’s a crippling mental state and a horrible feeling.
I’m sure it’s something all of us have felt at some time in our lives (even now). I don’t think you would be human if you didn’t!
Unfortunately, we’ll most likely feel it again in the future too.
A little self-doubt is normal. But when it cripples, disempowers and hinder you from taking action? It becomes unhealthy and something you need to work on.
I think self-doubt is one of those things that is never 100% cured or overcome, but it’s something that we have to learn how to manage.
♀I doubt myself, every time I write a new post, sign a new client, work on a new idea, meet someone new, read about an opportunity I could win if I tried,
Thoughts that stream through my head include:
“Will people like it?
Am I doing enough?
Will they like me?
Is it worth it?
Will it be of any value?
Do I stand a chance?
Aren't they other people who are better at this thing than I am?
What happens if nobody signs up for this course I'm creating?”
These thoughts can go on and on, so much that I start to cancel out plans and begin planning afresh, overthinking, overanalyzing, comparing etc. And before you know it, I'm feeling worthless, discouraged and demotivated.
The thing I've realized is, when you think, you hesitate.
When you overanalyze your ideas, you doubt yourself.
Overthinking deteriorates conviction.
That’s why you get stuck.
You are the only reason why you fail. When you let self-doubt cast a shadow over your dreams.
But, what matters is how you manage self-doubt so that you can take action despite your thoughts and feelings.
How you push through, even when it’s scary, uncomfortable, and downright terrifying.
Which is why I recorded this episode to share how I manage the self-doubt and how you can do the same.
The tips I shared acts as a foundation for you to build on.
Go give it a listen.

Powerful & Important Message
Great topic and love the title of your podcast! This is definitely me, always trying to be a perfectionist and never getting enough things done because I'm too busy trying to get everything perfect instead of just starting! I really liked the episode where you talk about "why consistency is important and how to be more consistent". 100% true about keeping at something day in and day out even when the results don't show up immediately, it's a great lesson to anyone. Very impressive background as well! I just subscribed, gave a 5 star rating and reviewed
